A short time ago one of our managers received a phone call from a prospective tenant who was trying to find a new home.  They explained they had barely moved into a property (NOT one we managed), but needed to move out right away. They had just started unpacking when they turned on the heat in the home and were greeted with a horrendous smell. After an exhaustive inspection the culprit was pinned down…the previous tenants had decided to forgo using the restroom where one normally would, opting instead to use the floor vents in the rooms. The young couple (seven months pregnant!) was able to move out of this other unit, ensuring a much better place to begin their family in a clean and healthy environment.
