Wednesday War Story - Excessive Late Fee's?

A tenant calls an owner and starts complaining about the late fees that she accrues & has to pay every month. Stating that it is excessive, exorbitant, extreme (and every other "E" word you could think of). It is unfair! She doesn't understand WHY she has to pay them.

After carefully explaining (repeatedly)  that her lease agreement says that rent is due on the first and a late fee will be charged on the 5th she still didn't understand. She simply states that she can pay rent whenever she gets paid, so too bad!  Unfortunately, she still had to pay the late fee monthly and when it came time to renew.... NOPE!
